BEYOND TECHNOLOGY – SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY MATTERS

More than the commitment associated with its activity, which crosses the areas of Research and Technological Development, EQS has been providing its activity with an important social component. Through various initiatives, EQS has been supporting actions involved in sports, society, health, and population welfare in general.

Thus, during the year of 2016, in the context of Social Solidarity, EQS focused its activity and aid on Association Asas. Headquartered in North Portugal, ASAS centers its action in the support of Childhood, Youth, Family and Community groups, seeking to train full-fledged citizens, protecting the most vulnerable social groups through the provision of services and the development of integrated intervention programs.

Understanding the importance of supporting institutions that aim to improve the conditions and the population’s well being, EQS invited its employees to participate in a project that involved several collections of food and goods, mainly during the Association’s most crucial times of the year.

EQS’s project aims to go further, looking to fulfill its international mission, working and developing initiatives at a national and international level.
