Pressure Equipment Certification
Product certification is an instrument that allows manufacturers to demonstrate the quality, reliability, and performance of their products in an impartial and credible manner:

EQS has qualified people with experience in product certification under the New Approach Directive 2014/68/EU (PED – Pressure Equipment Directive) and actively monitors the development of product certification at European level by participating in standardization technical committees.
PRESSURE EQUIPMENT CERTIFICATION – PED DIRECTIVE 2014/68/EU
To place pressure equipment on the market in the European Union, manufacturers, sellers, and other interested parties are obliged to comply with the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU (PED). This type of equipment should only be put into service when properly installed for its intended purpose, to guarantee the health and safety of people and future integrity.

EQS is recognized/notified by IPQ for certification within the scope of Pressure Equipment, in accordance with Directive 2014/68/EU (PED – Pressure Equipment Directive).
As a Product Certification Body (OCPT) under the EN ISO/IEC 17065 standard, EQS offers certification for products manufactured under this directive, specifically in the following conformity assessment modules:
Scope of activity – Conformity assessment modules:
- Module B (EU-Type examination – production type / EU-Type examination – design type);
- Module C2 (Conformity to Type based on internal production control plus supervised pressure equipment checks at random intervals);
- Module F (Conformity to type based on pressure equipment verification)
- Module G (Conformity based on unit verification)
