EQS valuing the trust our clients place in us, we are committed to protecting the personal data of Customers and Users of products and services of the company and also the personal data of the respective owners in all situations in which personal data processing occurs.
In compliance with these principles and purpose, this Privacy Policy was drawn up and underpinned by its commitment to respect the rules for the protection of personal data accordingly with GPRD.

In this document, we get to know you EQS, for what purposes we will use your data, how we’ll process it, how long we will retain it, and also how you can contact us in order to exercise your rights.
This Policy intends to inform the Customers and Users of the general rules for the processing of personal data, which are collected and processed in strict compliance with and compliance with the provisions of the personal data protection legislation, namely Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (“GPRD”).

VI. What kind of data do we treat?

EQS is dedicated to providing inspection, certification, and testing, consulting, and training services. In order to properly perform all the diligence associated with its activity, it is necessary to process your data.
The data processed are the name, address, telephone contact number and e-mail address, Fiscal numbers, citizen id, Social Security, training, and work experience.
Without prejudice to compliance with legal rules regarding the retention and transmission of data for the purposes of investigation, detection, prosecution of serious crimes, and other treatments to which it is legally bound, data shall be processed insofar as they are only and only strictly necessary for the respective provider of the services, and may further be for the purposes of marketing or disclosure of offers of goods or services if the respective holder has authorized it.
Personal data will also be processed if the respective holder has authorized it for the purpose of disseminating information services and lists within the scope of the universal service, including transmission to third parties for the publication of such lists and provision of information services.
In case of prior consent of the Client, the Client may withdraw at any time, without, however, the lawfulness of the treatment made on the basis of the previously given consent is compromised.

VII. How do we collect the data?

Via telephone, in writing, through their websites, guaranteeing, where necessary, the prior consent of the holder of the personal data.
Some personal data are indispensable for the execution of the contract and, in case of lack or insufficiency, the EQS cannot make available the product or service in question.
The personal data collected can be processed in a computerized and automated or non-automated manner, guaranteeing in all cases the strict compliance with the legislation for the protection of personal data, is stored in specific databases or in physical format duly stored in a place of reserved and secure access, created for that purpose and in no case will the data collected be used for any purpose other than that for which they were collected or given the consent of the data owner.

VIII. How long do we keep the data?

– Access to the information we have about you
The holder of the personal data has the right to receive from the EQS the confirmation that the data concerning him or her are being processed, and to access their personal data and all the information accordingly to the law.

– Rectification of information if it is incorrect or incomplete
The holder of the personal data has the right to rectify his data in case it is incorrect or incomplete.

– Erase or limit the processing of your personal data
The data owner has the “right to be forgotten”, ie the right to ask EQS to erase its data. EQS is required to erase the personal data when one of the following applies:
a) The personal data are no longer necessary for the purpose that has been collected;
b) The holder has withdrawn his consent for the processing of his data and there is no other reason for such treatment;
c) The owner opposes data processing and there are no other legitimate interests justifying the continuation of the same data processing.

– The data owner has the right to receive from the EQS the limitation of the processing of his data if one of the following situations applies:
a) Challenge the accuracy of its data, in a period that allows the EQS to verify it.
b) The processing of the data is legitimate and the holder of the data opposes its elimination and, on the contrary, request its limitation;
c) EQS no longer needs the data for processing but these data are requested by the holder for the purposes of declaration, exercise, or defense of a right in a judicial process;

– If the data owner has opposed to the treatment of the data until it is proved that the data controller’s legitimate reasons prevail over those of the data owner.

– Right to data portability

If the data processing depends on the consent of the holder and that consent has been made by automated means, the owner has the right to receive the personal data concerning him in an accessible and easily readable format.

– Right of opposition
The data owner has the right at any time to object to the processing of data relating to him.

– Opposition to the reception of contacts for marketing purposes
EQS may promote actions to disseminate to its Clients, new products or services, namely through telephone, e-mail, SMS, MMS, or any other electronic communications service if the holder of the personal data has given the respective consent.
If the owner of personal data does not intend to continue to receive such communications, he may at any time withdraw his consent to the use of his data for marketing purposes.
The periodicity of 1 year will require the renewal of the consent of the Client that, if not given, will imply the immediate cancellation of any sending of marketing communication

X. We communicate your data to other entities?

EQS, as part of its activity, may use third parties to provide certain services. Sometimes, the provision of these services implies access by these entities to the personal data of Clients / Users. When this happens, EQS will take appropriate measures to ensure that entities with access to data are reputed and offer the highest guarantees at this level, which is duly enshrined and contractually agreed between the EQS and the third party (ies).
Accordingly, any entity subcontracted by EQS will treat the personal data of our Customers in the name and on behalf of EQS, taking the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against accidental, unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, dissemination, or unauthorized access and against any other form of illicit treatment.
In any case, EQS remains responsible for the personal data made available to it.

XI. Changes to the data protection policy

EQS reserves the right at any time to make adjustments or changes to this Personal Data Protection Policy, and these changes are duly publicized in the various communication channels of EQS.
