EQS JOINS COTEC NETWORK

EQS officially joined COTEC – Innovation Association network on November 22nd.

Founded in 2003, COTEC’s mission is to strategically promote the increase of the competitiveness of national companies, focusing on the development and dissemination of a culture and practice of innovation and knowledge originating in the country.

In 2013, COTEC outlined a strategic line focused on the association’s activity in specific business such as innovation, knowledge enhancement, accelerated SME growth and project development.

As a company that carries out its operation in the ​​Research and Technological Development area, EQS is now recognized for its innovative attitude and activity, integrating the range of COTEC Associates, which represents around 16% of GDP and 8% of the national private employment.

The integration was announced at the 13th COTEC National Innovation Meeting, attended by the President, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, and Ellen MacArthur of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, an institution that since 2010 has been focusing on the acceleration of the transition to the Circular Economy.
