The FPSO Floating Production Facility 1, that will be re-moored in the Greater Stella Area, has been submitted to refurbishment works at Remontowa yard, in Gdansk.
EQS is now part of the quality control team, with multiple teams working two shifts, using Small Area Radiography (SAFERAD) to assure welding quality and to guarantee production.
The usage of SAFERAD technology allows to avoid interruptions in operations, and allows EQS to have several units operating simultaneously. This will bring a significant reduction in the traditional radiography downtime associated costs.
