With a partnership established since 2011, REPSOL renews its contract with EQS Global to provide Static Reliability services in Repsol refineries and industrial installations.

REPSOL and EQS Global signed a four-year contract for supervision and inspection services, and Non-Destructive Testing.

For Eng. Fernando Palminha, Repsol’s Inspection Coordinator, “The EQS Global has some interesting points that have allowed its evolution in a sustained way. First of all, it has been able to hear us and understand our needs. Another thing that EQS Global has adapted well to is when real challenges appeared, such as the shutdowns, where unplanned things happened. The balance of the partnership with EQS Global, since 2011, has been more than positive.”

The application of advanced Non-Destructive Testing methods in integrity assessment allows early detection of problems, increasing safety levels and significantly reducing maintenance costs.

EQS Global is an ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Non-Destructive Testing Laboratory and a certified independent entity, offering a full range of services dedicated to inspection and testing, as well as the knowledge needed to support its customers throughout the asset life cycle.

This represents an important step towards the consolidation of EQS Global’s corporate strategy, to establish long-term relations with its clients, enabling long-term activity planning.
