Long Range UT (LRUT) / Guided Waves (GW)
The Guided waves method consists of an innovative technology of long-range guided sound waves. Using piezoelectric or magnetostrictive transducers it is possible to perform inspections of pipes and pipeline over long distances from a single position. All this with substantial savings over other methods, as it is possible to avoid scaffolding, unnecessary excavation and coating removal.
EQS Global is an Accredited Non-Destructive Testing Laboratory and an independent and certified inspection company, offering a full range of services dedicated to inspection and testing, and the necessary knowledge to support its clients throughout the assets’ lifecycle.
